Sarah Gouwerok, BSN, RN

Meet Our RN

Sarah Gouwerok, BSN, RN

Sarah is the registered nurse hired in February 2012 to assist in the practice of Dr. James Ballard. She received her B.S. in Kinesiology from Washington State University, her associates degree in nursing from Mt. Hood Community College and her B.S. in Nursing from Oregon Health & Science University.

Prior to becoming a nurse, she spent several years working in the physical therapy industry. She is a member of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses. As a dedicated member of Dr. Ballard’s team, Sarah has increased the level of care Dr. Ballard is able to provide by being available for immediate contact should follow up questions or recovery concerns arise. She provides a valuable service to Dr. Ballard’s patients particularly as his surgical schedule requires him to be away from the office several days each week.

As a patient of Dr Ballard’s, you will see Sarah at your first follow up visit after surgery as she does have her own office hours. She is experienced, sensitive, and detail oriented. She is very familiar with Dr. Ballard’s philosophy and style of practice and is an invaluable asset to his care team.
